The Dorr to Door Cafe is a great place to get your ready-made lunch or dinner, but not everyone knows what the name means. We have even gotten comments from concerned individuals telling us that we spelled "Door" wrong on the sign...and they mean the first word. Fear not! We spelled it right. There is meaning behind the name. Dorr to DoorLuckily, the sign is correct! It's named after Richard Dorr, and his family. Dorr bought a tiny store in 1960 at age 18 with money he saved working nights and weekends, and built that store into the Niagara Produce you see today.
